Energy Administration

The Government Council for the Energy and Raw Materials Strategy of the Ministry of Industry and Trade is in charge of the country’s energy policy.

The Energy Regulation Office (ERU) has overseen energy sector regulation since 2001. In 2011, it took over many competences of SEI, the State Energy Inspection, including the control of energy and heat prices and compliance with the Energy Act.
