Ukraine's final energy consumption has dropped from more than 1,000 TWh in 2007 to 607 TWh in 2021.
Residential and industry sector have decreased sharply the last years. But are still the two dominant sectors. The others remained stable.
In 2021, the industry market share amounts to 38% of final consumption compared to 59% in 1992. Residential,tertiary and agricultural sector amount to 40% and the transport sector accounts for 14%. Non energy use accounts for 8%.
