New Smart Grid Roadmap for Turkey
The Turkey Smart Grids 2023 Vision and Strategy Roadmap Project - TAS 2023, managed by Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) and the Association of Distribution System Operators (ELDER), was recently launched during the 6th International Istanbul Smart Grids and Cities Congress and Fair (25th – 26th April 2018). As stated in the roadmap, Turkey plans to replace at least 80% of its electricity meters with smart meters by 2035.
