Shaping Poland´s distribution grid

The European Regional Development Fund is co-financing a project to improve energy efficiency and increase renewable energy use in Poland by implementing a new automated management system for the country’s distribution grid

Construction, development and modernization of the transmission grid elements constitute 95% of the total 2018-2027 spending, according to the plan. Implementation of the development concepts as specified in the plan, together with the expected development of the power production sector, will significantly change both the grid structure and power distribution in the national power system.
