Ukrainian Parliament adopted Draft Law 4334 on stimulation of heat energy production from renewables
The following advantages are expected from an implementation of the law:
• Guaranteed return on investment in heat production from alternative sources
• Reduction of gas imports by 3 billion m³ and savings of more that US$ 600 million
• Cost reduction of heat energy for end consumers
• New jobs in the production chain of alternative fuels
SAEE noted that the new law is beneficial from an economic point of view and will strenghten the energy independence of Ukraine.
