Romania’s renewable energy quota is lowered from 12,15% in 2016 to 8,3% in 2017

Romania’s renewable energy quota is lowered from 12,15% in 2016 to 8,3% in 2017.
Had the quota been kept constant at 12,15% also in 2017 prices for final consumers would have gone up to RON 17/MWh, indicating a 5% increase.
The change of the renewable quota was supported by the Competition Council and ANRE, the energy regulatory authority of Romania.
