Investor’s Guide for Renewables in Belarus
The guide was developed by the state research institution “Centre of system analysis and strategic research of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus”. The focus of this guide is to provide information on the potential of renewable energy in Belarus, legal information and also support mechanisms. The current support mechanism consists of incentive tariffs in combination with a quotas system which was introduced in 2015 which also regulates the construction, modernization and reconstruction of renewable energy plants.
