Turkey: 5 hydro power plants to be privatized

The Turkish Privatization Administration (OIB) is awaiting offers for the privatization of five hydroelectric power plants by the end of September

The offer for the Camlica plant, that can satisfy electricity needs of more than 100,000 people closed on August 19. The offers for the Almus plant with 27 MW capacity and the Kokluce plant with 90 MW capacity closed on 5 September. The deadline for the Menzelet plant with 124 MW capacity and the Kilavuzlu plant with 54 MW capacity will end on 30 September. The total installed capacity of all HPPs equals 376 MW.
