Romania’s Green Group to take the next step towards a listing on the Bucharest Stock Exchange
Green Group is specialising in consumer packaging and waste recycling in Eastern Europe. It recycles plastic bottles, electric and electronic waste, batteries, fluorescent lamps and glass.
The EBRD has invested EUR 6,8 million in Green Group and ended now its role as a shareholder of the company. The share is taken over by Abris Capital, a private equity fund based in Warsaw focusing on Central and Eastern Europe.
It may be expected that the recycling activities of Green Group will be expanded.
