Poland proposes a cap price for PV in 2016 renewable energy auctions

The Ministry of Economy of Poland has proposed the introduction of cap prices for renewable energy auctions that will be organised in 2016.

The cap could be set at €105/MWh for solar PV projects over 1 MW and at €110/MWh for PV projects up to 1 MW.
According to stakeholders in the Polish PV market the PV installation price as proposed by the government may be too low to  ensure profitability.
