Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia failed to adopt their National Renewable Energy Action Plans

The Ministerial Council of the Energy Community is requested to find a decision concerning the three countries who failed to establish their Renewable Energy Action Plan in due time

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia committed to adopt National Renewable Energy Action Plans by 30 June 2013 in order to ensure that national targets are achieved. The Action Plans include overall targets that were broken down into sectoral targets and measures to support the achievement of the specified targets. 

The said countries failed to adopt their National Renewable Energy Action Plans by 30 June 2013.

On 12 May 2015 the Secretariat sent a Reasoned Request to the Ministerial Council in order to find a decision and finally a dispute settlement.
