Seven new PV plants to be installed in Turkey

In the provincial capital Denizli northwest of Antalya, seven major PV plants with a total capacity of 7,4 MW will be installed.

The Turkish PV market allows for the German project planner to enter into a well-developing market, for which politics have defined an added capacity of 5 GW by 2020. It is the aim of the county to facilitate the implementation of renewable energies by 2023, aiming to cover a third of its energy demand. For the open area project of the town Denizli, 200 km northwest of Antalya in the Aegean region, grid connection is scheduled for the summer of 2015.
