TPA Horwath Study on wind energy in Poland

The new energy law in Poland should become effective on 01.01.2016.

The new law is expected to change the energy sector in Poland and to stimulate competition among new projects. The new tendering model for future projects has higher requirements concerning efficiency and quality of projects.

Furthermore, the development of expensive renewable technologies, such as offshore wind energy and photovoltaic, will be prohibited.

The study also informs on the new auctioning system, on funding opportunities for the period 2014-2020, on legal constraints for grid connections and provides market data on rentability and the productivity of polish wind energy projects.

The 5th edition of the "Wind Energy Reports in Poland" was published by TPA Horvath together with PAIiTZ, the Polish Agency for Information and Foreign Investment and the attorneys at law, BSJP.
