Poland's renewable energy capacity increased by 9,4% during 2014

The capacity increase is due to renewable energy sources such as wind and solar

Wind farm capacity increased by 13 percent to 3,834 MW while solar power capacity rose from 1.9 MW to 21 MW. Poland intends to cover at least 15% of its energy consumption by renewable sources, according to EU regulations on emissions.
