Moldova receives EUR 7million to upgrade district heating

A further grant of EUR 3 million is possible from the Eastern Europe Energy Efficency and Environment Partnership (E5P)

The goals of the grants are the upgrade of district heating, increase of energy efficiency, reduction of CO2 emissions. It is also intended to install three CHP plants and to convert a coal-fired boiler to use biomass fuel.
