Draft energy strategy of Montenegro

In order to reach its 2020 target of 33 percent of renewable energy by 2020 Montenegro will have to implement energy efficiency in the residential sector.

By contrast the government expects a high economic growth up to 3,7% until 2015 that will be fuelled by a high electricity demand covered by one new coal power plant and two new hydropower plants.
