Development of hydropower in Turkey

EnerjiSA, a joint venture of Sabanci and E.ON, has commissioned its Kavşak Bendi 186 MW hydropower project on the Seyhan river (Adana, Turkey). The first unit was commissioned in 2013. With the plant fully operational, EnerjiSA's installed capacity reaches 2,560 MW. The company aims to reach 5,000 MW by boosting its renewable capacity.
