EIB investment for the development of hydropower in Ukraine
Ukrhydroenergo is the largest hydropower company with more than 95% of the domestic hydropower generation.
The European Investment Bank (EIB) has lent Ukrhydroenergo €200m to support the refurbishment and upgrading of the hydropower plant units of 6 power stations. Ukrhydroenergo has applied for an additional €400m loan in 2013.
