Detail – Energy Country Profile

Turkey installed its first solar PV plant in Anatolia’s Sanliurfa province.

The plant has an installed capacity of 250kWp and was commissioned by Asunim Turkey.

 

(Asunim is an international company specializing in renewable energy and photovoltaic technology.)

The PV system consists of 1000 solar panels and is expected to displace 357 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year over its 25 year plus lifetime, generating enough power to supply 350 houses.
