Serbian government adopts Energy Development Strategy to 2025
The Strategy will have to be examined and adopted by the Parliament to enter into force.
The new strategy envisages increasing electricity production from renewable sources, reduction of GHG emission and increase of energy efficiency. The strategy defines long-term goals for the development of the country’s productive capacity, transmission, transport and distribution system and of the electricity and natural gas market. It aims to ensure the security of supply and environmental protection.
