Bulgaria and Turkey agree on new gas interconnection

Bulgaria and Turkey have agreed to set up a joint venture to build a gas interconnection between the two countries.

The capacity and the cost of the project were not disclosed. The agreement is expected to be finalised in March 2014. The 191 km gas pipeline would take about 2 years to build.
