Vattenfall sells its 18.67% stake in Polish utility ENEA

Vattenfall will sell its minority stake in the Polish utility ENEA for approximately €250m. Vattenfall thereby completes the sale of its Polish assets.

The entire stake of 82,395,573 shares, equivalent to 18.67% of Enea's share capital, was sold by way of an accelerated placement, for PLN 12.50 (€3) per share. The sale totaled just over PLN 1bn, equivalent to approximately €240m. The ENEA share stake was acquired by Vattenfall in November 2008 for approximately €451m.
