UniCredit Bank d.d. Mostar joins energy efficiency drive

UniCredit Bank d.d. Mostar is joining the new Western Balkans Sustainable Energy Efficiency Facility II (WeBSEFF II) with a loan of up to €10 million provided by the EBRD. The funds will be on-lent to private and municipal borrowers for energy efficiency and renewable energy investments.

WeBSEFF II has a total loan volume of €75 million provided by the EBRD and is further supported by €11.5 million in grant funds provided by the European Union for technical cooperation programmes and investment incentives.

The programme covers the countries of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, FYR Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia.

WeBSEFF II builds on the success of the €60 million WeBSEFF I, launched in 2009, under which 123 energy efficiency and renewable energy projects have been financed to date.
