A subsidiary of DTEK "Wind Power" will triple the capacity of the Azov Wind Farm

Wind Power - a subsidiary of the private Ukrainian energy holding company DTEK, intends to increase the capacity of the Azov wind farm up to 550 MW ( almost 3 times the present capacity) by the end of 2016.

The capacity increase will occur due to the construction of two new wind farms in addition to the already operating Botievo WPP (Zaporizhzhya region, Azov district).  According to company estimates, the amount of investment in the wind farm "DTEK Priazovsky" will reach 900 million euros. In addition, the company plans to begin construction of a second wind farm with total capacity of 700 MW in 2017.
