In addition, the company transports, stores, distributes and sells natural gas as well as upgrades and expands gas transmission and underground gas storage systems in the country. Gazprom acquired a 80% stake in the company in March 2006. The Russian giant is currently negotiating with the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources.
