Romania offers auction procedure for grid connections for systems over 1 MW

The Romanian Ministry of Energy has announced a draft regulation that plans to transition to an auction-based grid connection procedure for solar projects larger than 1 MW.

The Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) has submitted a draft regulation amending the rules for the connection of new power generation capacities to the national grid.
