International companies, financial institutions and agencies such as US Exim, MIGA and the Swedish Export Credit Agency are supporting the project.  The solar power plants, which are scheduled to be installed by 2028, will produce an annual output of 1.2 TWh. It should be the largest investment in renewable energy sources in Europe this year.
