German-Czech consortium is developing a motorcycle powered by a hydrogen fuel cell

A German-Czech consortium of research institutions and manufacturing companies plans to build a fully functional hydrogen motorbike by the end of 2025.

This motorbike should meet European approval standards and certification requirements. It will contribute to the reduction of CO2 and noise emissions and thus to the co-development of CO2-neutral mobility.  The advantage compared to battery-electric solutions lies in the longer range with shorter refuelling times.  The hydrogen-powered motorbike can be used for urban delivery services and courier services due to its flexibility and compactness.
