Moldova launches first tender for 60 MW fixed-price solar energy

The Ministry of Energy of Moldova has published the deadline for large-scale renewable energy tenders.

The procurement process begins on 9th April and will take place until July 2024. The aim is to acquire 105 MW of wind and 60 MW of solar projects. The minimum capacity for PV project attending in the auction will be 1 MW. The total capacity of wind projects is almost twice that of PV projects. The ministry will prefer companies that are already established in Moldova, have experience in the sector and have already initiated the process of obtaining the necessary permits.
