Engie plans to buy 80MW wind farm in eastern Romania

Engie announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire a wind farm in eastern Romania in Chirnogeni, Constanta.

The Chirnogeni wind farm has a total installed capacity of 80 MWp and the estimated annual net production is approximately 180 GWh. This covers the annual electricity consumption of 90,000 households. Engie Romania already operates two wind farms with a total installed capacity of 98 MW. With this expansion, the company will almost double its existing capacity.
