Vestas gets 87 MW project in Lithuania

Vestas has received a contract from UAB Vejoteka for the Kelme II wind farm project in Lithuania.

The contract comprises delivery and commissioning of 14 V162-6.2 MW wind turbines.After installation, Vestas will maintain the turbines as part of a 35-year service contract to ensure optimal turbine output.The region offers huge potential for wind energy projects and the EnVentus wind turbines represent a competitive solution while contributing to the decarbonization of the energy system in the Baltic region. The turbines are expected to be delivered in the first quarter of 2025 and commissioning is planned for the third quarter of 2025.
