Romania's hydropower producer Hidroelectrica increased its net profit by 42%
Sales increased by 32% and electricity generation by 38% compared to the same period of the previous year. Hidroelectrica is the largest producer of green energy and an important service provider in the energy system in Romania. The company operates 187 hydroelectric power plants with a capacity of 6.3 GW, as well as the Crucea wind farm with a capacity of 108 MW. The Romanian State holds a majority stake of 80. 06% in Hidroelectrica.
