Polenergia takes control of a wind portfolio of 686 MW in Romania

Polenergia enters the Romanian market. Poland's largest private energy group has signed a conditional agreement with Naxxar Renewable Energy Management Holding.

Polish energy firm Polenergia has signed an agreement to acquire a 60% stake in a wind farm project in Romania with a capacity of up to 685.6 MW. The wind farm, known as N4, is located in the windiest area of Romania, Tulcea county, with average wind speeds exceeding 8 meters per second. The acquisition is part of Polenergia's strategy to expand its operations and assets in Romania, aiming to become a leader in renewable energy in Central and Eastern Europe.
