Ignitis and Ocean Winds set to win Lithuania’s 700 MW offshore wind tender
Ignitis Renewables and Ocean Winds have together submitted the highest development bid of €20 million for the 700 MW offshore wind project in Lithuania and are expected to be announced as preliminary winners of the offshore power plant development tender process. The preliminary winners are yet to be confirmed by the Lithuanian National Energy Regulatory Authority. The project is expected to supply up to a quarter of Lithuania's electricity needs by 2030.
