Serbia to strengthen hydrogen cooperation with United Arab Emirates

Serbia’s Minister of Mining and Energy, Dubravka Đedović and the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates, Suhail Al-Mazrouei, have agreed to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation on hydrogen development and continued cooperation in the field of renewable energy sources (RES).

“Hydrogen is the energy of the future, which will enable cleaner energy with less impact on the environment,” said Minister Đedović. “The UAE has the knowledge, developed technologies and companies.” The Serbian Energy Minister emphasised that making use of the potential of RES is an important instrument in increasing Serbia’s energy security, as well as achieving the vision of climate neutrality.
