Three countries prepare joint investment in solar energy

The project aims to strengthening economic relations and renaming the Trilateral Mini Economic Zone Initiative to Open the Balkans.

North Macedonia's Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said after a meeting with the leaders of Albania and Serbia that they would jointly invest in a 700 MW photovoltaic plant.

It is based on the EU's four free principles on the free movement of goods, persons, services and capital. The three leaders called on the remaining three countries of the Western Balkans to join.
