Vestas confirms Ukraine wind power deal
Vestas has secured a 372 MW turbine order for a wind project in Ukraine. The order is for the second phase of DTEK Renewables' DTEK Tilgul project with a total capacity of 500 MW.
Overall, the turbine order for the 500MW DTEK Tiligul project is the largest order Vestas has received in Eastern Europe and includes the first project in Ukraine to use the EnVentus platform.
The second phase order includes the supply and installation of 62 V162-6.0MW turbines installed at a hub height of 125 metres.
