Polish developer announces €225 million Green Bond plan

Poland's largest developer of ground-mounted photovoltaic systems, R.Power, has launched a programme to issue green bonds. In the first series, green bonds with a total nominal value of 34 million euros were issued.

In total, the project developer R.Power plans to issue green bonds with a total nominal value of up to 225 million euros.

The bonds will be listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange's alternative trading system.

R.Power is developing a portfolio of photovoltaic parks with a capacity of over 4 GW (4,000 MW), the company writes In the last two years alone, the company has already commercialised and built or started construction on nearly 320 MW of photovoltaic projects. The developer has projects in various European countries, including Poland, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
