The photovoltaic boom in Poland continues
In the last five years, at the end of 2020, Poland ranked first in the European Union in terms of the growth rate of photovoltaics, calculated on the basis of the cumulative annual growth rate - CAGR For Poland, the cumulative ( combined) growth rate in the period 2016-2020 was 114 %, the EU average was 10.3 %.
In the first three months of the year, newly installed PV capacity amounted to around 533 MW. By comparison, in the same period of 2020, the country's new PV installations connected to the grid had amounted to around 400 MW.
