Low price in Turkey´s PV tender

Turkey's PV tender ends with the lowest price of 0.021 USD/kWh and 1 GW of allocated capacity

The Turkish Energy Minister closed the 1 GW YEKA 3 PV tender that was launched in March and has been running for the past five weeks. The Turkish authorities awarded all the capacity they intended to award in the tender, selecting projects ranging in size from 10 to 20 MW.

The highest price of the procurement measure was 0.037 USD/kWh. The Turkish authorities selected projects with a size of 10 to 20 MW, 70 % of which consisted of locally produced panels.

The solar plants will be located in 36 cities and at 74 grid connection points.
