Call for project proposals published by the Norway Fund

Romania

As part of the Energy Programme of the Norway Grants Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 in Romania, a new call for project proposals ‘Increased capacity to deliver renewable energy’s (i.e. biomass, biogas, wind, photovoltaic) with available funding of EUR 4.608.100 was published. The call excludes hydropower and geothermal. 

The expected outputs are: 

  • 'increased installed capacity for production of energy/electricity with other Renewable Energy Sources
  • increased number of new installations for the production of renewable energy/electricity from other renewable  sources.'  

Projects are expected to reduce CO2 emissions and increase the security of supply. 

The  ”Energy  Programme  in  Romania  seeks  to  stimulate  and  develop  long-term cooperation between Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Romania. 

The application deadline is 8 September 2021.
