Slovenia`s Interenergo builds a wind farm in North Macedonia

The Slovenian joint venture Interenergo d.o.o. and Trigal will build a 30 MW wind farm (EUR 40 Mio) in Bogdanci, North Macedonia, which is expected to supply 18 000 households and be completed in two years.

In addition, the 36.8 MW wind park is currently extended in Bogdanci by the state-owned electricity company ESM by 16 wind turbines (investment volume of EUR 55 million). 

According to North Macedonia's energy development strategy, the share of renewable energy in the country's gross final energy will exceed 50% by 2040.
