Record amount of solar-micro installation connected to the grid in Poland
In 2020, the Polish DSO PGE Dystrybucja S.A oddział Skarżysko – Kamienna connected 612 MW of solar micro-installations, which accounts for a new annual record. It means 57 000 newly connected micro-installations adding to the capacity of 335 MW from the previous year.
Moreover, the Distribution System Operator connected 253 larger renewable energy plants to its grid accounting for more than 196 MW of capacity (177 MW of solar PV parks, 14 MW of wind farms and almost 5 MW of biogas installations).
