Bosnia and Herzegovina adopts a three-year business plan

The public power utility of Bosnia and Herzegovina the Elektroprivreda Bosne i Hercegovine (EPBiH) adopted a three-year business plan (2021-2023) with the investment volume of EUR 850 Mio.

The plan lays out priorities, such as increasing renewable energy generation and purchase against 2020 and the expansion of the RES infrastructure by building small hydropower plants on the Neretvica River, finishing the construction of hydropower plant Vranduk, and creating enabling conditions for wind and solar projects and for the further work on the Vlašić wind farm, HPP Janjići.

In addition, the compilation of the construction of the Podveležje wind farm is planned for 2021, which is expected to generate 100 GWh of electricity and start it operation on 1 March 2021.
