Largest solar PV plant to be built in northern Croatia

The Croatian Sunčane elektrane Međimurja intends to build the largest solar power plant in Croatia located in Rasinja, with an installed capacity of 50 MW and expected cost of EUR 40 million.

Construction is expected to begin in early 2022 after the successful permitting procedure and preparatory works. The produced electricity will be sold to the state power utility Hrvatska elektroprivreda (HEP).
