EBRD supports Hungary in the Green Economy Transition

In Hungary, the UniCredit Mortgage Bank issued HUF 15 billion covered bond with a 5 years-term. The EBRD supported the issuance an investment by € 13 million, which supports the Hungarian economy to fund green projects in accordance with the EBRD Green Economy Transition approach.

Morover, in the framework of the EU Structural Reform Support Programme, the EBRD is supporting the green capital market development in Hungary through its engagement in policy reform, in cooperation with the Hungarian Central Bank.
