New best practice standards set in the Energy Community by North Macedonia
On 6 February North Macedonia set new best practice standards in the Energy Community by adopting a Law on Energy Efficiency.
By implementing this comprehensive Law, the Government is facilitating competitiveness in the industry, uptake of green energy sources in the heating and cooling sector and economic growth.
This Law was developed in close cooperation with the Secretariat and with the technical assistance provided by European Union, within the Regional Energy Efficiency Programme (REEP) under the coordination of the Ministry of Economy.
