EU4Climate project supports the Republic of Moldova in transposing the climate acquis in national legislation
Moldova aims to set up an Emissions Trading Scheme for GHG in line with its commitments under the Association Agreement. The Energy Community introduced a set of recommendations on the harmonisation of legislation on 27 May.
The National Energy and Climate Plan will be developed that aims to integrate the different energy and climate planning processes of the country into one document to coordinate the approach towards low-carbon development. The plan will be submitted to the Energy Community Secretariat in October 2020 after the national, regional and international consultations.
