It aims at building a common area of shared democracy, prosperity, stability and increased cooperation. More trade and investment, facilitated by a favorable business and investment climate, leads to more jobs and higher economic growth, as well as, ultimately, to more prosperity, and thus contributes to a sustainable security of the Eastern partner countries and their populations.
