World Bank Loan of EUR 176 Million to Turkey for Energy Efficiency Projects

On 15 November 2018, the World Bank announced that it will lend USD 200 million (approx. EUR 176 million) to Turkey for energy efficiency investments in the public sector.

The Turkish government plans to use the loan to promote electric and hybrid cars to improve energy efficiency and to also focus on improving the isolation of public buildings.
